two thousand and one (archive)

Diaries of my round the world trip. As originally typed, warts and all... Starting in Hong Kong then from the rural south northwards into urban China. Across the sea of Japan to Tokyo and hence to Mexico. Starting in Cancun then right around the Yucatan peninsula. South into Belize enroute to Tikal and Poptun then retracing my steps via Caye Caulker, Tulum, Cancun and two airports to Honduras. Through Guatemala , Mexico City onto Panama and Lima. Up into northern Peru, down the coast to Nazca and back up into the mountains to Cuzco and Macchu Picchu. Bolivia is the penultimate stop before a final week on the beaches of Rio in Brazil.
