full distance race simulation

Full distance swim plus a bit. Full distance bike plus a bit. Short run straight off the bike.

Swim felt fine but a bit bored. Strong all the way through, plenty of people in so quite a few bits to draft off of.

Bike was super long, I'd forgotten just how far 112 miles was! Nutrition was good for the first half but stopped for pasta and sausage roll at leyburn which kind of threw off the plan and filled me up until Ripon. Struggling to stomach food near the end, have to be better than that before the marathon.

Running straight off the bike felt good. First mile was tight and short stride but relaxed and lengthened for the second.

Felt sick afterwards though, not good nutritionally. Fixed by yogurt, milk and two slices of toast with lime marmalade. Something to note for Tenby...
