hellvelyn ridge

Running from Dunmail Raise to Clough Hill. First half on garmin, then second half on iPhone when the batteries died, oops!

Walked the ups, ran the flats and downs. Felt strong and steady, nutrition ok with snickers and nuts and water. In the rain and clouds half the time, had to break out the map and compass and do some proper navigation too! Apparently I haven't forgotten everything! Finished with oomph in my legs still, didn't need to be longer though it would be interesting to see what's possible...

Hitched back to Dunmail Raise in a couple of lifts, just as the skies brightened up, typical ;)
