climbing and jogging (fast) and swimming

Two visits to HCC this week, one lunchtime swim and a good run round york.

First climbing session on Tuesday with Roy. Nothing hard, just cruising around on vertical f6a. Swimming in Wednesday, 20 mins only as that's what fitted into the middle of the day, then it finally dried up enough to justify being outside so I went round the city walls of York to see how high the flood waters were. They were pretty high :) Ran pretty fast too, mile splits were dropping all the way round. So nice to just run and not worry about pacing and distance and time and everything else. Foot was niggling a bit in the first mile but eased off, must stretch more and roll it as a preventative measure. Then back to the wall for the third shoulders session. Good warmup including 3 x leg raises and frenchies: 3x10 leg raises. 3x1 and 2/3 of a frenchie.

Felt well tired by the end of last night's session and had extra calories, Chinese takeaway. Then rest today with more food. Recovery is good.
